The Tasmanian Community Fund recognises the community's ongoing need for community infrastructure to provide places for the community to participate, build connection and to learn.
2021 applications for Community Infrastructure have closed. The next Community Infrastructure – Strategic Initiative round will open on the 6 August 2022. EOI's will close on the 14 September 2022.
To support the TCF community infrastructure strategic priority, the TCF has made a commitment to provide $1 million every year to support larger community infrastructure projects (strategic initiatives). For strategic infrastructure projects (those over $50 000) the TCF is prioritising projects in rural and regional Tasmania. The Tasmanian Community Fund considers all of Tasmania rural and regional except the urban areas of Hobart, Glenorchy, Clarence, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. The TCF will only consider community infrastructure applications from these urban areas if the project is targeted at people experiencing entrenched disadvantage.
The TCF also funds smaller community infrastructure projects throughout Tasmania through the Community Action Grants.
If you have a project idea, it is never too early to start your project planning, please call the Tasmanian Community Fund office on 6165 8333.
