2022 Intern Director Appointed
The Tasmanian Community Fund Board is delighted to welcome Alysse Gavlik as the 2022 Intern Director.
Alysse is a member of the Premiers Disability Advisory Committee and Women with Disability Australia. Alysse is passionate about supporting people with disability to find employment, accommodation and find their place in the community.
Alysse has worked with the State Service for the past 23 years and is now the Senior Consultant, Community Development and Engagement with the Road Safety Branch of the Department of State Growth. Alysse has extensive experience with the administration of grants and is currently responsible for Community Road Safety Grants, the Learner Driver Mentor Program and various one-off government grants.
Through her role as Intern Director, Alysse hopes that she will gain the skills, knowledge and experience to position herself to engage with other Boards with organisations that have a profound impact on community, and to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the needs of the Tasmanian community.
The terms of TCF Chairperson, Sally Darke and Board member, Alex McKenzie have been extended for three years to December 2024.
